The built-in webcam of my laptop mysteriously got lost. The webcam is physcially there. However the operating system can’t find it. No imaging device on the Device Manager.
The Windows 7 and HP diagnostic can’t find anything wrong or anything missing. Could somebody help please?
I try to find a driver for it but nowhere can I find, not even on the HP driver site.

I hesitate to use driver detective software or the like, even it might be free. I wonder what is in it for them.
