my server bip every second

hi all
i have couple of server close to each other
one of them start to make a bip noise
it happens every minute
and its from the built-in speaker

i dont know what server it is
i also dont wont to restart them now

how can i tell whitch server it is and why?

A few things to check here.

Firstly, have you taken a look through the servers event logs to see if there is any information there....

Then, take a look at any server management software you have to see if there are any alerts.

The only other thing I can think of is if the servers are using a UPS of any sort ?? If so, it may actually be the UPS beeping that it has a problem rather than ther servers themselves (unless the UPS is built in ??)

Put your head against each server and when you hear the beep, that's the one making the noise.

Otherwise, follow the previous suggestions.
