Check to make sure the clients aren't setup to SCAN NETWORK DRIVES. Also, are your users Standard(Power) Users or Restricted Users? Restricted Users will run into many permissions problems which could lead to an error such as this. However, I am leaning toward my first thought... Hope this helps.
You are definately right, the myagtSvc, stands for the My Agent Service component of Mcafee ASAP, but you might have already figured that out by now. he best way to resolve this is to remove Mcafee ASAP through a regular uninstall in Windows 2000 if you can. Afterwards, proceed with using the MCafee CLeanup Utility. I have had to do this many a time, and the tech support team at Mcafee ASAP's web site are my new best friends as a result of it.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
