MyDocuments redirection issue

I have a user profile who currently has their My Documents being redirected. We want to get it local again. We have checked and confirmed there are no group policies forcing a redirection. We have attempted to make the user an administrator and went into the properties tab of My Documents but it still won’t allow us to switch locations. Any thoughs?
