MyVitalAgent

By D.H. Cesare ·
This morning I read the article about 4 free programs for Win98 that were recommended. I downloaded and installed MyVitalAgent by Lucent Tech. It completely shut my machine down and would not allow it to boot up. After 3 unsuccessful attempts at booting Windows, I had to "revert" my drives back 1 hour, using Roxio's GoBack. Fortunately, that program works.
What caused MyVitalAgent to so completely shut me down?

Does your computer meet or exceed the minimum system requirements:

Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0 or 2000
32Mb of RAM
A hard disk with 20Mb of free space
A Pentium 200 Mhz processor
Netscape Communicator 4.x or higher
or:
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x or higher
Microsoft TCP/IP stack

You might want to check

downloads --> MyVitalAgent --> FAQs

Only specific modems are supported (if you are not using DSL or cable). You might want to call 1-888-683-2254 and pursue this with them.
