One of my computers has gotten an extra tool bar, something called mywebsearch, just wondering how to get rid of it.

Spybot Search & Destroy, Ad-Aware, CWS Shredder, Microsoft AntiSpyware, and CA Pest Patrol, running those should take care of your problem. Make sure to turn off system restore and run in safe mode. May also want to run a a virus scan.

CWS can be very difficult to remove. If the excellent advice from Josh fails, you have two choices. Try CWSredder located at

If these don't work, the only other cure I know is a complete reinstall (including repartitioning and reformatting).

Just another suggestion here if you have to do a reinstall of the system do not forget to use a utility to wipe the HDD so that nothing remains on it. If you just perform a routine Format it will only write to every 3rd sector and leave the contents of the other 2 sectors intact and possibly allow a reinfection of the system.
