I am using a Linksys RV082 router with VPN, to allow work at home(client use only). I couldn’t get the Linksys client to work on the laptops, but I can get the XP-VPN client to work very well. The problem I have is, I cam ping the PC’s by IP address but can not resolve their names on the local LAN.
Is this normal, or what am I missing. I cna map a drive by Ip address, but then O need to set static IP’s on the LAN.
I feel that the Linksys client should work, but I can’t get it to and Linksys recommended I download a Greenbow client which worked for a short time, but still had the name resolution issue.
