NAT for Microsoft Proxy 2.0

By Vuitanh ·
Is there NAT for Microsoft proxy 2.0? I'm using Win98 SE ICS right now and it works just like a dialup connect. With MS Proxy I can do alot more, but I have to configure Winsock and other as well? Is it possible to do a simple like Win98SE in MS proxy 2.0?

NAT for Microsoft Proxy 2.0

Short answer is no. The new version of Proxy (ISA server for 2000) incorporates NAT. If all of your machines are Microsoft platform and are just going to be web browsing you won't need the WinSock client. They will only be using the web proxy service so you can just configure your browser with the proxy IP address.

That is enough to answer my question.
