I’m running NAV 7.6 corp with the symanctec system center on an NT server. There’s also a central quarantine installed locally. For some reason the same virus keep reappearing over and over again on the clients machines. I have run manual scans and virus sweep and it comes up with clean. So I would clear the virus status on the clients; a couple days later it would reappear again. I have gone to symantec support site and try their suggestion on how to delete those old virus through the virus history. That didn’t help much because every time I try doing that it said “NAV cannot perform this action because: 1. the file have been moved or deleted 2. the computer they are located on is not turned on 3. you are trying to clean a file in an email msg. Has anybody ran into this problem before or have a resolution for it? It becomes annoying when it keeps showing up viruses but there aren’t any.
