I have a question to ask on the subject of browsers, but I put that question on hold… to send out this comment.
I am working with a colleague on a project, and while designing a website, my colleague kept on insisting that if it takes more than 2 clicks to arrive at any destination on the website, then the design of the site is faulty.
Does our Republic site fit the description of reaching any link with 2 clicks? What’s the average number of links I’d go through to post a blog, a comment, a question – from the homepage?
I set out to find a link to ask the question on browsers, and after about 10 minutes of browsing the Techie site in circles, I changed my objective and sent out this comment using the feedback link at the bottom of the homepage. Thereafter, I was somehow returned to the right page by default.
Can we look at our beautiful site again?
