NEC CDR c251 (cd changer)

I installed a 4x4 cg changer but my win 98 registers it as a floppy drive, how do i remedy this? i have the driver for it, even installed the driver and had windows look up new hardware. it didnt work. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Have you checked with the shop that sold you the CD changer?

Where did you obtain the drivers from AND what were the file names?

I have one of these drives (which NEC stopped supporting before Win 9 and the only files I managed to obtain were for Win 95. Several of the drivers around would only allow thedrive to function as a single (i.e. Non autochanger)
