I have a Windows 2000 Server that Acts as a router between my network and the internet. Is there any Antivirus software out that i can install on my server and it will scan all data coming through my server. Also what is a good Client/Server AV?

    Thanks

Symantec NAV is a great client server AV. They also make a gateway product that scans file types for known virus extension. We use the coporate edition here and it works extremely well. There are many more AV software vendors out there, but Symantec seems to be the most popular

Personally I prefer Panda AV for Networks, http://www.pandasoftware.com.

The workstation installs are automatic by keying them to the user login. The software will automatically setup a logon script that will run and install the software on the workstation at user logon. Using this method you can decide which users get the install and when.

The AV software is installed on the workstation without user intervention except for the reboot to finalize it.

Also the users cannot access the program files to change the settings. You control the software scans and behaviour from the admin panel at your workstation.
