I’m taking up the fine art of Java programming, and so of course I’m running into the typical pitfalls. Some of them I’m getting around by reading the f manual, but others really need the input of an expert.
When I was learning linux administration, I got a –ton– of advice on freenode. Their #java channel leaves a lot to be desired, as does the #java channel on efnet.
Can anyone recommend a good Java IRC channell? I’m hoping to avoid preachyness and sarcasm, and to find a group of laid back people who sincerely enjoy providing advice.
