I am looking for a way to use MRTG for monitoring multiple switches & servers over LAN (internally).
I have installed Perl & MRTG, it runs fine but at the moment, I open & leave 10 command prompts running perl mrtg server1.cfg… each monitoring a specific server.
Now I have all the HTM web pages on a single folder (D:\MRTGReports) with different names as serevr1.htm, server2.htm…and need to open each one by one to see them.
I want to have all of them accessible via web over Lan for my manager say https://Mrtgserver/India-Reports – click server1 link for server1 reports ….
What is the way to proceed now?
I also have Cisco3550 & 4506 switches, i need to monitor them in a way so any user has a virus or starts to broadcast, I could get email &/or have that checked using this MRTG. I use Windows 2003.
