I just installed the most recent version of CCleaner (formerly Computer Crap), which I’ve found very helpful in the past. I’m running Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007. Not long after installing CC I got a popup from Trend Micro listing a suspicious change to my computer’s memory, saying that the file – ccsetup 141[1].exe – contained spyware! I’m ignoring it, since it said it was a low-risk change, but wonder how spyware could be considered low risk and if I should be uninstalling CCleaner. I’m no techie and definitely on shaky ground with this sort of thing.
