Need help Configuring Fibre optic on a 16Gb and 48Gb linksys switches..

I have recently setup a fibre optic connection in my network and have a problem getting the link to com…i have used to the proper shared ports on the switches and dont seem to get any luck in getting it to work…can anyone advice me on what my options are to resolve the issue….please bear in mind….i have checked that the fibre optic cables and mini Gibic’s are fully working….i have currently a CAT5E connection….i am using SRW linksys switches…
