I just recently bought an Abit K7 RAID motherboard and tried to install the HD. When I install the Windows 2000 Server O/S on the HD, it takes me all the way through the DOS setup, but I then get an error, “ntfs.sys is corrupt. Setup cannot continue.” ANd that’s it. It will not take me to the GUI installation phase. I’ve tried Windows 95/98/2000 Pro/2000 Server/2000 Advanced Server. i’ve tried two different HD’s (Western Digital and Seagate). These are both on the 2000 HCL list. I’ve tried all the formatting programs offered by the companies on their websites, but those do not work either. Someone said something to me about the BIOS? Can anyone help?!! THanks.
