I have just been tasked with developing and setting up backups for our companies network. My back ground is in Cisco not Microsoft. The parameters given to me is that they want work stations backed up nightly to the server and the server backed up weekly. Actually they want all of the work done daily on the work stations by individuals to point to one folder on that system and then that folder to be backed up to the server. The work stations are NT 4.0 and W2K. The servers are NT 4.0. I also have to set the permissions where supervisors can look down but no one can look up the structure. I have never dealt with this before and really do not want to mess this up. Any help is greatly welcomed. Esp. instructions on accomplishing this task. Thank you.
