Hi, I work for a company that use IE and Firefox. We would like to implement the ‘Automatic discovery of proxy server’ script (Automatically detect settings in IE). All the articles I can find seem to relate to ISA server which we do not have. We are using a product called eTrust SCM. Basically, I have a proxy.js file that I would like to use when the PC is connected to our network. How do i set this up. I understand I can use either DHCP or DNS (prefer to use DNS) – however, i don’t understand completely how to get it to work. Can anyone help with giving me step by step instructions on this? Any help would be greatly appreciated – thanks!
