I’m not sure if this is a hardware or software issue:
I’m trying to perform remote support to a network of 5 Pc’s (running xp home and pro). They all have static addresses assigned (192.168.1.3, 20, 35, 40, 52).
They all have PcAnywhere (ver10.5) installed as a host with a user(me) added with the same user id and password.
Sometimes I need to log in after hours when the users are gone, that is why I chose PcAnywhere as a connection tool.
In PcAnywhere, I have assigned incrementing IP addresses to the 2nd – 5th Pc.
I have added the assigned incrementing ports to port forwarding on the Linksys Befsr81 router and also in port triggering.
I can only access the first Pc (192.16.1.3). If I log into PcAnywhere using 255 in the last node, I should see all Pc’s (hosts turned on waiting to be accessed). I only see the 1st one.
Can anyone help? This is driving me crazy.
