Need help with file syncing on SBS 2008

By mootles22 ·
We have just converted from a small PC network based on shared folders, to a Server running SBS 2008. I have setup a shared folder which is manageable (full privileges) by each of the 4 employees/directors of the firm. On the old system we did much the same and then copied the entire folder to our laptops so that we had it when out on site with no Internet access. I've been told we can now setup a system where by as soon as you log in to the domain from any laptop, it syncs the whole filing system automatically, so any new files or changes made to files whilst offline are synced terminal>server and any changes others have made whilst in the office are made server>terminal. Can anyone point me as to how to do this, and also suggest how this would affect us if we logged in to the domain from home - ie. would we have to still sync from our houses however many miles away? Or could "remote syncing" be optional?

Thanks in advance.
