Need help with network and Macintosh

MAC…love ’em. But i have one giving me trouble. It has only started this today, and nothing is different from yesterday. It is a ppc 7200/120, 64mb ram, 1gb hd, built in ethernet, both 10baseT and the proprietary ethernet connection they come with. i have always used the 10baseT connection on this one, and connect to the internet through a network using tcp/ip. basic stuff. today i was browsing online using opera 5, and right in the middle of browsing, i could no longer see out! it is not affecting any other computer on the mixed MAC/PC network. I have switched out cables, rebooted, switched ports on the hub, double checked tcp/ip and appletalk settings, etc. even thought it might be a bug in opera, so i tried netscape, with same result.any ideas? i really don’t want to switch to the other connection, as it is so much slower on the internet, about half the speed of the port i’ve been using…don’t know why for sure…just an observation. with the 10baseT port, i get d/l of 60kb/s, but with the ethernet port withthe 10baseT adapter, i get between 20 and 30kb/s. any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
