Re: USB Ports
Under the hardware both of my ports are recognized but under the software it’s not listed to support hubs ( USB Supplement/OSR2).One of my ports work, I have plugged my scanner into it. But if I plug my scanner into the other port beside it, it will not work.
When I click on the control panel and click on add/remove programs. I cannot see the USB Supplement/OSR2 software. But if I do a right click on control panel, properties, device manager the 2 USB ports are both listed. The hardware is there, but not the software.
Can you talk me thru installing the software for this port?
When I put in my Win95 CD Idon’t know what program to look for to install. Or do I put in my Windows 98 CD?
Also if DOS is involved in anyway, can you give me commands for using it. I don’t know anything about using DOS.
