Hmmm

Do you recall the local administration password for the Server? You can always log on locally instead of via the domain, if you remember or have this password.

Ring Microsoft

by Tig2 In reply to need open my server

Have your original disks handy. Once they have validated you as a customer, they should be able to walk you through.

This is nothing at all personal but we do not post those kinds of step by step instructions as it makes the information available to people whose intentions are not good. Microsoft is your better direction.

Good luck!

Or if you have an Off The Shelf System

by OH Smeg In reply to need open my server

You will not have any Genuine M$ disc's so in a case like that you need to ring the system maker for a solution to your current problem.

Personally I think no matter who you ring you will be directed to log on locally and not remotely so you should have that option covered before ringing either M$ or the system maker.

Domain Admin

by retro77 In reply to need open my server

Any domain admin has rights to log into a server. Do you have more than one domain admin?

Or are you trying to hack into someone elses network? Word of advise, come back with a response that is intelligible and one that isn't trying to hack someone's server. You can get arrested for that! I'm sure in Saudi Arabia, they dont just put you in jail, I bet they torture and mutalate also.

Good times! Cheers!
