Need some help with setting up a port forward for Rusted Warfare.

    Hi!

    I have two questions.

    Question 1
I need some help with port forwarding rusted warfare. I was able to log in to my router with my ip, unfortunately my internet provider doesn’t provide the Rusted Warfare in their games list, there is an option of adding one but then I need to provide a tcp/udp port range. Does anyone know what that is for Rusted Warfare?

    Question 2
I want to play rusted warfare with another person – does that person needs to port forward rusted warfare as well? Or is it ok if only one person (who hosts the server) does it? I use windows 10 and the other person uses sumsung ipad I believe.

    Any answers/suggestions greatly appreciated.

Is that the person that HOSTS gets to do the port forward.

To see if a port forward will fix it there’s a quick test we use. It’s just one setting in the router which is widely written up on the web so I’ll note it and pause. Ready?
-> Put the local (LAN) IP address of the PC that is running the “server” into the router’s DMZ entry.

This must work or it’s a sign the problem is elsewhere.
