Hi,
Need the best retail duplicate file remover for Windows 7. Have multiple copies scattered in different desktop drives and flash drives.

Not too fond of shareware.

Be VERY careful regarding Windows 7 …

Windows 7 [b]DOES NOT[/b] operate in the same ways as either Windows XP or even Windows Vista.

You may be noticing multiple instances of the ‘same’ file, when in actual fact these are essential system files due to the way Windows 7 organises files.

It may be a bit early in the life of Windows 7 to feel you know whether these files should be removed.

A few weeks ago, I started down this same path and looked at and/or downloaded trial copies of half a dozen duplicate file finders, before chancing on Beyond Compare 3. I haven’t looked back since. It’s thorough, robust, & intuitive with a superb GUI. It’s $29.99 but also comes with a 30 day free trial.

I was in a same trouble may 1 yr b4, at that time i found duplicate finder 2009, todelete duplicate files from the drives and i solve that problem using this tool.
