I removed the hard drive, cmos battery and ram of memory, even bought a new hard drive and tryied to install XP, but it won let me install or get into my operating system,
bios is all a mess.
I researched and gateway has an update with a utility to flash bios but it can only be used with in windows.
I can not istall or get into windows.
Does anybody know of anything I can use to flash the bios from CD?
my laptop is a Gateway M-1412 Phoenix TM for bios.
keep in mind that I can not install, or get into my operating system, I don’t have a flopy drive, but it seems to be able to boot from CD ok.
it just won’t let C: work
any help will be apresiated!
