To start with, "just" is a trick word and the first person you trick is yourself.

What do you mean by "track"? You probably want to log or record "to" addresses on sent emails and "from" addresses on received emails. But do you perhaps mean something else?

If you're looking to track outbound emails you can use email tracking services. Have a look at ContactMonkey ( which offers free email tracking for Outlook & Gmail, and Boomerang (www.boomeranggmail) which offers read receipts for Gmail. Hopefully one of their services will help!

Hi john,
Thanks for such good references.
Though, Microsoft link is a complete manual processing where one can track email messages for "Dynamic CRM reporting". But another provided reference looks like a good and appropriate solution for me what I was looking for. Let me check the demo before purchasing license if I get the exact solution.
Thank you !
