I ghosted my windows XP pro install onto another drive so that I could then transfer it to another internal HD.
However, it was apparently damaged and will not boot nor will the repair console fix it (or accept my admin pwd).
I’ve installed a fresh OS on the new drive, but am uncertain how to move back the email settings and so forth from the original on my slave drive (d:)
To add insult to injury, I have a (legal) legacy install of MS Office, but no longer have the key. I have access to an installer, but am unsure how to find the CD key on the original install.
Ideas?
