Hi All, hope you can help with this one!
I am running Win XP SR2 and somehow my .NET Framework 1.1/2.0/3.0 has got screwed-up and will not install or update from the Microsoft Update site, (All other updates work fine).
I have tried removing them from ‘Add Remove Programs’ but they will not uninstall. So I am in between a rock and a hard place, I just can’t find a way around the problem. I tried an XP-SR2 ‘Repair Re-Install’ but that did not cure it, I also tried intalling .NET Framework 1.1 from the option on the XP Installation disk but again no joy. I just keep getting the error message ‘Unable to Install’ or words to that effect. I don’t know what may have caused this as it used to work Ok.
So, over to you tech guys, has anyone any ideas about this problem ? Is it maybe anything to do with ASP.NET configuration ?
