Net meeting

By singhjunk ·
I recently changed the password for my AD domain.
When I try to connect to the member servers in the
domain through netmeeting it still accepts the old password. However If I am not using the netmeeting and try to logon to the server through the local console it would accept only the password I had changed.

What is wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Is the password for the local Administrator account(s) on the member servers the same as the old Domain Administrators password?
Because if you change the Domain-level Administrator's password, that does NOT change the local Administrator's password on each member server. And you can use the local Administrator account to authenticate with Netmeeting.
So, you will have to change the local Admin's password on each box to the same password as your Domain Admin account now uses.

hope this helps

I agree I never thought of that. That was very smart.

Thanks!
