NET SEND COMMAND

Can anyone please give me an example of the Net Send command. I keep trying to send messages to people on my lan, however it dosen't work and all the machines have the messenger service enabled. I really think it is the command that I am not typing correctly. NET SEND bla bla bla, please help?

The syntax is a s follows:

NET SEND {name | * | /DOMAIN[name]| /USERS} message

where the name in {...} is the destination and message is ......the message

"Net send * message text" will send to everyone.

Net send workstationname message text" sends to a particular machine.

Go to a command prompt and type net send /? to get a complete explanation of the syntax.
