Our organization is looking for some type of utility that allows us to notify users similar to NET SEND (i.e.: system interruption, unscheduled server reboot). However, we need the ability to select the target audience either by workstation name(s),IP Address(es), groups, or server(s) ? and to be able to monitor if the user acknowledged the message. Features like the user not being able to close the program are a must ? the focus is on guaranteeing the target workstation received the message and was acknowledged by the user. We have over 1600 NT Workstations / 2000 users and so far most products that we have found are either administratively intensive or are more ?Instant messaging? type applications ? loaded with features that we do notneed at this time. Any suggestions on any products?
