Hey Guys,
Since rolling out our new NETBIOS names over the network, I have noticed that vista computers have problems connecting to our NAS. The XP computers are fine with connecting to the NAS, but with the Vista computers alas they cannot connect. Strangely enough the machine is able to be pinged via the netbios name but connecting to it directly via the netbios name, only the IP address works. I have a suspicion that it has something to do with the netbios name itself because, it has a hyphen in the name. Is there a workaround for this?
