NetDDE blues

My NetDDE service will not start. Instead it generates 2 error messages:
1) Initialization of NDDENB32.dll failes AND
2) Node name [Servername] already in use on Lana number 0.

What are Lana numbers and how do I access this information so that I may correct the problem???
