When netdiag gets to the LDAP test it is trying to resolve the fqdn to an IP that has nothing to do with the company. I traced the IP to a webhosting company that has shut down the domain associated with that IP for some inappropriate activities. Anyhow I cannot get netdiag to not try to resolve to this IP. It is not located anywhere on the server (win2k) not in DNS, hosts, lmhosts, wins is not running, not bound to any adapters, not in the registry. So I am looking for any information as to how/where/why netdiag gets that particular IP address to resolve my fqdn to.
