Hi there. I wonder If anyone can help. Might sound like a weird question but Im battling a bit with this. I run a college network and have about 5 Netgear FVS firewalls. The problem Im having with the new one I recently purchased is that on the outbound firewall rules there is no “ANY RULE”
For example I used to be able to add an Ip adress and select protocol “ANY” from the dropdown list. The new firmware I see doesnt have this. Seems you have to Specify every protocol you want to allow that IP adress. I can create a custom service called “ANY” under the services menu. But Im needing to know what port range did Netgear use for their “ANY” rule so I can create my own. Any comments will be much appreciated.
