This is driving me crazy. I am trying to get our Netgear PS113 print server working on a recently installed windows 2003 server. I am using the latest version of the Netgear software. It is set up to use only TCP/IP at a fixed address for the print server on the w2003 server, a workstation running XP Pro, and another server running w2k tse. Everything sets up fine on the workstation and the w2k server, but on the w2003 server, when trying to add a printer using the add printer wizard, the wizard can correctly identify the ports and the printers but trying to actually ADD the ports results in the message, “Add Port Fail” and the printers cannot be set up. Any ideas? There is no relevant info on the Netgear website, or MSN’s server website.
