I am running W2k Server as a root dns server.
TCP/IP configured as follows 192.168.0.254, subnet mask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.0.1 (Win98 for ICS)preferred DNS server 127.0.0.1. DNS is configured to forward to the ISP DNS #. I am experiencingSystem warning Netlogon event 5781 Dynamic registration or deregistration of one or more DNS records failed because no DNS servers are available. And also Netlogon event 5782 Event Type: Warning

*The event viewer does not show any DNS errors and both simple queries and recursive queries pass for DNS.
I think I have a configuration problem but can’t figure out what it is.
