Netmeeting, messenger, HOTMAIL issues!

By Whatme? ·
We have sveral 95, 98 and w2000 workstations. All are running EI 5.5 or above w/128 encryption. No proxy server. No 3rd party blocking software. No firewalls. Some (both 95 up to w2000s) can not log onto hotmail.Others can. I have the same settings on all. The message says (ENABLE COOKIES)The problem is... cookies are enabled on all.
In security and INTERNET and in custom...all cookies etc are enabled. EVERYTHING in explorer is the same on all machines.
What else could we look at??????

Try downgrading security levels
Check permissions on the Cookies folder make sure Read-Only is unchecked and the folder is readable
Try deleting cache & history off the browser
Try using hotmail through OutLook
Try different browsers like mozilla.org, opera.com
otherwise :-D The old' way is the way
C: Format :-D

LoLz and ALSO, I just read someone else's answer, this might help you as well:
"You probably have a cookie blocked.
go into internet options - Privacy - Edit
see if you have a site for hotmail or microsoft
marked as always block. highlight it and click remove."

The one complaining said he installed WMplayer 9 series and then this happened... weird.

Even though this isn't the right answer, I am closing it anyway. I have tried the above items. I set security to low and accept all cookies..even session cookies but the same still happens. Everything I can think of, I have tried. Strange that it only happens on certain stations.. all are the same configs though
