Recently, my machine caught a virus. We recovered, and installed Communicator 4.76/128 bit. Can’t seem to resolve an inbox problem in mail. When launched, one of two scenarios occur: (1) no mail is retrieved and we get the advisory “Can’t open inbox. You may not have permission to write to this file. Check the permissions and try again.” or,(2) mail attempts to be downloaded (but it never is) and a second box appears stating “An error occured while saving mail.” I’ve set and reset preferences many times and a search for anything pertaining to “permissions” comes up empty. Any ideas?
