I have a Netware 5 server which provides File and print services to users, I am having intermitent problems with users rights to files and printers. Sometimes a user can be logged in and all their files are displayed as read-only and the printer is off line, When you check the users files in explorer it reports that there are 0 bytes free! (I have checked there is gigs of space!) Deleting the printer from the client and re-installing after a reboot sometimes works for the printers the user can log on at a different PC and the files will be accessible. I can’t find the cause, any ideas? This is using a win98 client with version 3.3 I have also installed a different version of the client, binned IPX in favour of IP and vice versa
NWclient.All I am looking for is a step in the right direction.
I have run DSrepair and the NDs looks fine!
