netware attributes

By sleeper ·
Does anybody know how to display the netware file/dir attributes (such as owner, delete/rename inhibit, purge immediately) in Windows explorer. Or do I need another 3rd party explorer or utility?
In short: I'd like an extra column in windows explorer with the Netware attributes.

If you have the new novell client 3.30.0.0
right click on a dir or file in explore, click on properties, then switch to the NetWare Info tab, and you'll see everything you are looking for.

Well, I know that, but that's only for one file or dir, or a selection of them, but I'm looking at real time info, as I said like in an extra column of Windows explorer.

Haven't been able to with the tools provided by Microsoft or the Novell client. 'Bout the only way I've ever found to do it is through a DOS prompt using NLIST.

nlist is fine, but a bit basic and terminal like, no?! I'd like something windows based.

Try using this url
http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/Assets/Rknp254.zip
According to the Novell site this is free.
There is an updated 60-day trial version available at http://www.rk.net/software/netplus.html
According to their website, current pricing is $95 for a single user.
Check it out to see if it's what you want.

NOT exactly what I'm looking for, but interestingly enough.

Use NWADMIN. Your volumes should appear alphabetically in the appropriate container and you drill down to the desired object.
