netware client

does anyone know of a way to uninstall the novell client automatically or quietly?? (no user intervention) from the network?? Running version 4.7 or 4.8..

clients are windows 2000 on a windows 2000 network (and novell network for now)

In the c:\novell\english\admin directory... not sure of the exact path, as it has changed slightly with different versions, there is a file called ( i think uinstall.exe )

in the login script, put in a statement

@c:\path\uinstall.exe

do you know if this is a quiet install? we've got 1000 clients with this.. so if i have to touch them, i'm screwed!

According to Novell, there is no automated uninstall routine for NT or Windows 2000. The following link tells how to remove it altogether manually, however. Perhaps a ZEN object or batch script can be created to do the job:

You can probably use the ACU (automatic client upgrade) option of the client to uninstall it by running it from the login script.
