Netware Client 4.8 for Windows 2000

By nate.coffey ·
I currently am running W2K Pro on our desktops/laptops which connect to a Netware 5.1 (NDS) using the Netware Client 4.8 for W2K. The Netware login comes up first. Does anyone know how to change it so that the Windows login comes up first? I know that I can deinstall/reinstall the client but there's got to be a better way.

Thanks

Run REGEDT32 and go to to the key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\GinaDLL. If the value is NWGINA.DLL, change it to MSGINA.DLL.

I had the reverse situation after upgrading to WIN2K Pro and needed the NetWare GUI login to be able to run my SPX applications such as RCONSOLE and WIN2NCS.
