I have a mixed Netware 5.0 and NT4.0 (sp6.1) network. We use Microsoft Services for Netware to allow my Novell clients to log into the NT servers. Everything works great except for two users. User A cannot login to one particular NT server until that server has been rebooted. User B can login to a differnet server for three or four days straight but then is told they’ve got a bad password and the NT server displays an access violation error from DR. watson. Also, when trying to access a shared volume the user can see the volume, but cannot see any of the files or folders even with wide open access for Everyone. Rebooting the server fixes the login problem but not the share problem.
I’ve checked for expired passwords, permissions, and rebuit the accounts.
