My network consists of Novell 4.11 servers and NT 4.0 servers. With Win95 clients there are no problems logging in as long as the passwords and usernames match for both Novell and NT.
With Windows 2000 clients, the NT password logon dialog box comes up first, followed by the Novell client logon box. The Novell splash screen comes up and goes away when it sees the username and passwords are the same with NT and Novell. This works fine until the Novell password expires.
When the Novell password expires there is no message stating that the user has 6 grace logins left. They only get a message when their password has expired and there are no remaining grace logins.
I am using NW Client v4.8 and did try a patch that I found on Novell’s website. This didn’t help any. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
