Netware - Identify ips and macs of works

By guy.graham ·
I have a Novell 4.11 network for american greetings corp's distribution center , Win 95 workstations, 3-400. My documentation for assigned ips and macs is out of date. Does anyone know of a utility that will identify these addresses or scripts thatcan be created to provide info either through login or with a call in utility?

thx, guy graham

Methods - Look at the server console / connections and see each logged in user with their Network/station address , painful but works in a pinch
- Use Session and pick the user and see their MAC
- Use Nlist user /A | will show all the logged users and their MAC
Tools - Download the trial version on Flukes Network Inspector from www.fluke.com , and run a report on your network . Great but $$ to buy
This will also show the users IP address , netbios name , IPX name and
just about everything else . I have no affiliation to Fluke , just love the SW.

TCPNetView does exactly what you want. Moreover, it does it for free. Get it here:

Note, long URL.
