We have a Novell 4.11/5.1 network. We have started to roll out Windows 2K PC’s. We’ve found one item to speed up browsing in the W2K machines, but opening Office programs is SSSSLLLOOOWWWW!
We did figure out in the Microsoft Networking portion of properties to turn off IPX/SPX – which speeds browse up, but everything else is ugly slow on every W2K pc.
Any ideas on how to speed the process up?
