Network Access Problems

I have two 98SE machines and one XP machine on my LAN at home. From one of the 98 machines I am unable to view any folder besides the “shared folder” on the xp machine. I can view that folder, but other folders that I have created say they are not available and “access denied”. Why can I view them from one 98 machine and not the other? Let me know, thanks.
